Betting 'Whistle Blower' System
BWF has a “whistle blower” reporting system to report cases of betting in badminton by individuals involved in BWF sanctioned tournaments or where bribes or other payments / inducements are used / attempted to be used, to influence the outcomes of a match.
The “whistle blower” system:
Allows individuals to make confidential reports
Protects the identity of the person reporting the incident
Helps to gather evidence for disciplinary action
Individuals who wish to report possible breaches of the BWF Regulations on betting, can use a 'Whistle Blower' form to report possible offences.
This form must be sent directly to the BWF Secretary General, Thomas Lund – e-mail: email@example.com
NOTE: ANY REPORTS OF ANY OFFENCE GIVEN BY ANYONE WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THE OFFENCE IS NOT REAL OR NOT GIVEN IN GOOD FAITH IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND THE BWF WILL CONSIDER DISCIPLINARY ACTION AGAINST ANY PERSON GIVING FALSE REPORTS.
BWF Position on Betting
BWF Regulations prohibit betting on matches by any person - players, coaches, officials, organizers etc - in a BWF sanctioned tournament where they are involved. The Regulations also prohibit bribes, or offering anything of value to influence the outcome of a match.
Codes of Conduct cover the following areas:

Wagering anything of value in connection with a tournament in which one will be, or is, competing.
Bribes or other payments - offering, giving, soliciting, or accepting, or agreeing to offer, give, solicit, or accept, anything of value to or from any person with the intent to influence any player’s efforts or the result of a match in any BWF-sanctioned tournament.
