Media FAQ

1. How do I get press releases or be on your mailing list?

The BWF periodically issues press releases and press invitations to media conferences and as such, would like to invite members of the media to register with the Federation in order to put you on our mailing list. Click here to download the Media Registration form.

Complete and email the form to: Gayle Alleyne - g.alleyne@bwfbadminton.org.

2. Do you hire freelance or part-time writers?

From time to time, we do engage freelance writers for various projects or events, if you are interested in being on our freelance writers database, email g.alleyne@bwfbadminton.org with your resume attached, particularly outlining your writing experience and knowledge of the sport, language skills, as well as, your competencies in a range of new and social media. We will get in touch when there is a project deemed suitable for you.

3. Do you take in media interns?

Yes we have had student interns at the BWF, however this is subject to openings. In the near future, we may have a program recruiting interns. If you are a college/university student and would like to register your interest, email g.alleyne@bwfbadminton.org.

4. How do I apply for media accreditations at events?

Please visit the official websites of events on the BWF calendar for accreditation details. Media accreditations are currently issued by the local event organisers. More details on media accreditations, visit here.
