London 2012: Vote for the Golden Moment of the Day: Day 2

We have captured three "flying" moments from the second day of the London Olympics 2012 badminton action, now it's your turn to vote for the Golden Moment of the Day!

British pair, Chris Adcock and Imogen Bankier, have been far from flying high at London 2012; losing two three-game matches versus the Russians and then the Germans. However, Bankier showed her athletic ability against Germany, going full stretch to try and reach the shuttle on this play.

The epic 82-minute battle between Japan's Fujii/Kakiwaa and Singapore's Yao/Shinta was full of diving on both sides of the court. It was eventually heartbreak for the Singaporeans, losing the decider 19-21 despite winning the first game 21-16. The Japanese claimed the second game 21-10.

Thailand's talented duo Bodin Issara and Maneepong Jongjit (pictured left) continued their gallant run on Olympic debut. After outplaying Indonesia's Ahsan/Septano on day one, the young guns forced Korea's Yoo Yeon Seong and Ko Sung Hyun to "dig deep" in their group match. It clearly wasn't deep enough as the Thai pair bagged another major scalp 21-15 21-14.
